God's touch

Last week, I just attended church conference for 3 days. It was such a great experience for me. And It was definately much better than the previous year. The presence of God is really strong, the praise and worship is awesome and the word of God is impactful as well.

Actually when I received the news that the church conference will be held in Singapore, it does not excite me in participating for it. Because all the while we have our conference outside Singapore. And this is the first time we have the conference in Singapore. Besides, the people in our unit has the lowest attendance in participating for this conference. Somehow to certain degree, it has discouraged me. But as the date approaching soon, our leader has mobilized the people to do prayer and fasting; to develop our desire to experience Him through the conference and to get our heart ready enough in receiving God's message.

One day before the conference, my leader actually called up the people who will attend the conference in person and pray for us on the phone that we will really experience Him. I can see how my leader really put her heart and effort in seeing her people receiving something through this conference. And it actually stirs my heart in meeting up with the two sisters from my cg before the church conference started. The two sisters and I came together and had a sharing about the church conference. We do not want to treat this conference just as another camp or retreat but we want to be a changed person after the conference. We want our "Jar" to be filled by God fully after the conference.

Then the next day, here you go..the conference has started. What impacted me the most from this conference is really the presence of God and the word of God. I come to realize if what we really want to experience is GOD HIMSELF, it doesn't matter whether the event will be held in Singapore or not, whether the program is interesting or not, whether the topic relevant or not. That are not the most important things. What's important is God is there with us. Amen!

Our senior pastor was in the conference and he mentioned this "DO NOT MISS THE CHANCE FOR YOU TO BE TOUCHED BY GOD". Attending conferences, camps or other activities are the avenues for us to meet Him and to be touched by Him so don't miss it. Thus I think we have really made the right decision in coming and not missing out the touch of Him.

On the first day during the heart preparation, God actually reminded me about a potter and a clay. Do I want to be the kind of clay that is soft enough for Him to mould me or I want to be a "hard/stubborn" clay? Hmmm...I responded to Him, yes Lord I want to be the clay that is soft enough for you to mould me.

Through the teaching and the movie that we watched, I've learnt about being a disciple and becoming a disciple maker. What kind of disciple am I? I usually put quite a high expectation on my mentor (person who disciples me) and as a person who does not really express my expectation, i can easily get disapointed when the expectation is not met. Due to that, i need to learn to manage my expectation.

Another things that I learnt is to have an open heart. Many at times we ask for a conviction, clarification and understanding from God, from our leader, etc. But when we ask for it, did we actually ask it with an open heart? If not after the conversation it will still go back to square. We need to admit that the truth is never easy to accept but that is the truth.

In becoming the disciple maker, I really need to learn to do my part as a leader not because responsibility but because I love Him and I want to love His people as well. That will make a whole lot of different. I know by knowing this, it does not make me easy to do it. But i really want to have this value and this perspective in doing God's work. During the lesson, we were though "STRUCTURE IS DEATH BUT SPIRIT IS ALIVE". I want to impart spirit to the people that God entrusted me, and I am praying and hoping that God will really guide and equip me for these.

On the second day, we actually have the care group bonding. It was because our unit that attended the conference is quite small, thus we decided to have the bonding as a unit. We had our bonding at the national library. We shared more on our thought, feeling, emotion, well almost anything that we have in mind about our cg, our unit or indo group as a whole. The sharing end up pretty well, eventhough at first it is kind of "don't know how to start".
On the last day of the conference, we actually had a prophetic night. I would say the praise and worship is really AWESOME!!! I love it, it just makes you want to just be in His presence always. There was one song that we sang with the lyric "I need more of You, more of You". This lyric really speaks into my heart. I really need more of Him and I want Him more in my lives; above my situation, above my struggles and above all I want more of Him. With this touch, it actually speaks to me alot in the area of breakthrough in term of my relationship with God. I do not want to remain the same in my r/s with Him, I want to experience Him more in my life and can grow my intimacy with Him into another stage. Besides, I come to recognize that I need a breakthrough in my leadership skill; in loving His people and in speaking into people life. There was a session whereby all the leader in the church was praying for all the people who need breakthrough prayer. And I responded for that two areas that I want to see myself growing in.

Another happiness and blessing that I received through this conference is that I can see the two sisters being blessed from this conference. They have shared how they have been blessed through this CC and God has spoken something to them.

Thanks to God who has blessed His children through this conference. We love you Daddy ^_^.

It's about the SHOW (Xiao Zhu)

Guess what did i do yesterday??? Oh yeah yesterday, I went to IMM to meet Xiao Zhu. This is the day that I've been waiting for..haha and finally it has came to pass.

At first I thought that there will be some sort of song performance. But it is actually just the autograph session. And the queque is really way too long. He has been signing not stop for about 5 hours.

This is the first time I met the taiwan actor "in person" meaning can see him face to face and have the opportunity to do the hand shake while taking his autograph. I would say he really looks very handsome in real. More handsome than seeing him from the movie or on TV. He has a sharp chin and his neck is actually quite long. While shaking hand with each person, he will look at us with a smile (Not just busy signing and ignoring us). Eventhough I believe it must be very tiring for him. Can't imagine if you need to sign for 5 hours not stop and keep smiling to all your fans. But he did that though..

Wow yesterday was really a great experience for me..hehe..I never done this before and it was my first time..SO SO HAPPY!! And thanks to my housemate who is willing to accompany me. If I'm alone I don't think I will make it. Besides. my housemate and I had a good time chit chatting and sharing with one another while waiting.

I look forward for the day when I go to Taiwan to watch his entertainment show. I hope the chance will really come.

100% Entertainment!

I enjoy watching drama series especially Taiwan drama..And i think to certain extend i get addicted to it..haizz..since the begining of the year 2010, i think i have finished 3 series of taiwan drama in one row..Non-Stop man! I watched Down with Love, Autumn Concerto and Hi My Sweetheart. And i love these three movie. Each movie has their own meaning; Down with Love is funny, sweet and romantic movie. Autumn Concerto is a very touching and meaningful movie. As for Hi My Sweetheart is a funny and romantic kind of movie..

After watching all the drama series, i think it's time for me to control myself. Not to find another drama to watch..well OK!! I did it pretty well!!! BUT NOW..I switch to watching taiwan show instead..haizz..I'm watching 100% entertainment hosted by Xiao Zhu & Xiao Gui..before watching Hi My Sweetheart which is acted by Xiao Zhu, this taiwan show never really attracted my attention.

However after watching couple of times..hmm.. I found that Xiao Zhu is very entertaining..He is very humurous, pretty gud in dancing, can sing quite well..eventhough I only like some of the song that he sing. But as overall, I like to watch the show that he hosted..Besides, yeah he is a filial son..a very dedicated son and a person who will do his best in his profession as actor, singer, dancer and host/presenter. I got to know more about him after watching his show..He is gud in imitating other people for entertaining purpose e.g Jay Chou's voice, Michael Jackson's dancing, etc...Well watching his show 100% entertainment you will certaintly enjoy it..At least I do!! hehe..

Chinese New Year Holiday!

This year i did not go back to my hometown for chinese new year. It's because i just went back on January to attend my friend's wedding. And to go back again on February, i think the time gap is really too short. I think i will just save my leave for my next holiday to Taiwan and go back hometown again maybe end of the year. I really really hope that i can have my holiday trip to Taiwan this year..hehehe..
I ever spent CNY in Singapore before and i would say it was really really boringg...Very very quite, almost no food court is open only junk food. If there is any foodcourt that is open, it will be of higher price than usual. So sian...Because of that, my housemates and I planned to go to KL and Genting for our CNY holiday. I really enjoy my holiday in KL..And having holiday for only 4 days i think it is really not enough. We maximize well our time in KL..Eat well, play well only not rest well..haha..i think i did not manage to sleep enough.

On day One, we reached KL around 3 plus p.m. We checked in and proceed on our late lunch at Nandos-KLCC...Yum Yum..this is the food that we've been wanting for..After feeling our stomach with the good food..i think it is really important to burn our fat..hahaha...so Ai-Ai, Nonny, Beto and I went to swimming, jacuzzi and steam bath..I was so excited about the jacuzzi..but after trying it out..HAIZZZ..BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!! it is not as expected. I expect the jacuzzi will be hot and have many bubble..but in actual fact, the jacuzzi was not hot. it is just like a mini swimming pool to me. And I can't really feel the bubble. It's like not enough pressure or something..After having jacuzzi, i went to the swimming pool and enjoyed the steam bath..Guess what we did after burning our fat..haha...We went for CNY Eve Feasting..haha..We went to Hakka Restorant and ate 5 different dishes. There are Crab meat soup, prawn cereal, cap cai, butter squid, "Ayam Arak Putih". We actually order chilli crab but too bad, there is no more crab available..haizz..i would say the food there is just nice..not until so excellent..hehe..

On the second day, it's really the day that we've been waiting for...YES!! We went to Genting and we are going to have fun in the theme park..Since it was the first day of CNY, I thought it will not be that crowded. BUTTTT my guess was wrong. It was even extra crowded than usual. The queque was extremely long..there was one ride that i need to queque for more than one hour..haizz..Another not so good things, I forgot to bring long pant for this trip. Some people say that Genting is not that cold anymore but that was really wrong. It was very cold to the point that i almost get freeze by it...Brrrrr...

Wel, in total there were 5 rides that i played. I played roller coaster. This was our first games. Followed by Shoot Space. If i remember the name correctly. This was one of my favourite games. Very very thrilling..In this games, you are being shoot up to the highest height and after that you will be push down at a very fast speed. I can feel myself is flying coz when i was being push down, my butt is no longer touching my seat..pheww..however i enjoyed this games a lot. After that, we played Kora-Kora, Small Roller coaster and we end the games with flying coaster. Flying coaster is a superman ride. haha..That was the first time i can have the experience to fly like a superman...wakaka..I would say this was another thrilling ride for me. Because your body position is like you are crawling ak "tengkurep n terlentang"..then after that you will be flying at the fast speed. It is a new experience for me because I can not expect what kind of feeling will I be getting..haha..We reached our apartment at about 11 p.m i guess. And i soaked myself in the bath tub for about 30 minutes..very relaxing and very comfortable. I can sleep really very after that.

On the third day, it's a free and easy day. We went for breakfast earlier than yesterday at 7.30 a.m. It's a oriental breakfast. They served omellete, nasi lemak, sausage, various kind of bread. And I like the toast bread the most. As usual they also serve salad, fruits, cereal, juices and coffee. We really have a heavy breakfast. After we have our breakfast, we went back to our room to have some rest and Nony and I went for steam bath again. This time, we took longer time in the steam bath. In the late afternoon at about 3 p.m we had our lunch and walk around Bukit Bintang and Pavillion. I managed to buy 2 necklace, 1 earing, 3 pair of socks and body lotion..hehe..That's what i shopped in KL. Not much right...kekeke...At night we want to eat at murni. We went all the way from our apartment to SS2. It takes about 30 minutes to reach there by taxi. When the taxi driver know that we went all the way there to eat mamak..he thinks we are crazy..haha..he said there are many nice mamak store around our apartment. But too bad the one that we know is at SS2. After reaching there, So Sian, the stall was closed..I wonder, why Indian store closed on the Chinese New Year..Haizz..At the end we went to other mamak store around there. And i thought it is not as nice as the one we tried on the previous nite.

Finally, It's the last day of our holidayy..So Sad that we need to go back to Singapore and to work again on the next day..haizzz...Time to face the reality and to work hard again. Bye bye holiday..I look forward for another holiday. Hope it will come soon..hehe

Sharpening my cooking skill

One of my resolution this year is to take healthier food. Thus i have decided to cook on my own. At the same time, I want to sharpen my cooking skill..hahaha...

I started to learn cooking when I studied overseas. At that time, no more parents watching your life, no more home cook food..And we get very bored of outside food, thus my housemate and I decided to try cooking on our own..well, that's how I started. I would say i am not good in cooking as yet..For Simply Food!!! Hmmm..I think I am still able to cook for simply food...hehe..

Now in Singapore, I feel very bored of the food. And it is very unhealthy to keep on eating outside food. Outside food are mostly oily, many MSG, the chicken are very fatty because it is an injected chicken..my parents actually quite concern on my eating pattern. WHY?? Again because it is not very healthy..Because of that I've started to cook on my own, bring it to office for my lunch. At times I will also cook at night for my dinner. I think I enjoy cooking..The only thing that struggle me the most is I need to wake up earlier that usual to prepare for my food.

Baby iphone

I have this new baby for one month now..so far i have no regret yet in purchasing this baby..

I love the applications n i would say it is really user friendly. Well many ppl is using it now n it makes me easier to ask around whenever i dont understand how to use the application.

I've been trying to download blogger app in my iphone but there is some error on the web picasa. But...today i managed to work it out. YAY!! It then marked the day for me to blog right away from my iphone..haha..

N with this new baby, it makes me checked my fb,email,plurk more often. N i played games more often. Not to forget to track my expenses, read bible n jot down notes more often..haha

Another things tat i want to do through tis baby is to read news more often.something tat i don't prefer to do coz i don't like reading. But i think it is necessary to updates myself with the news..hehe

I hope from this day onward, i will blog more often too. So that i will have the memory on how i go through year 2010..i'm expecting more breakthroughsss in my life in this year. May God grants this request according to His will. AMEN!!

Resolution 2010

Times really fly..Now it's already mid of Jan..I actually had came out with my resolution on the 2nd of Jan..but i only manage to share it now..hehe..

Looking back at the year of 2009 and by refering to my 2009 resolution, i actually did not accomplish well. I think i only manage to accomplish about 30-40% of it..I would say it is not really a remarkable year for me..

Now i have come out with the resolution for 2010..This time i want to be more deligent in following up closely on my resolution..Not only hoping that i will be able to accomplish them but most importantly is to execute the plan with the grace of God..heehehe

Trip to Jakarta - Final Part

I finally ended my holiday in Jakarta and has reached Singapore to start my daily life here again..Well, i started to have a feeling of wanting to stay in Indo..to spend more time with my family. I've been away from my family since I was 17 years..so it is already 10 years now...But I'm still uncertain on what kind of future will i be experiencing..I still do not know how long will i be in Singapore. Am i going to stay long here? Settle down here?? I really hope God will show me which path will I be heading for my future.

Yesterday in the airport when my parent sent me off..I felt sad to be apart from my parent again..n I need to wait for more than half a year to be back to my hometown again..haiz..don't know why am I so caught up in my emotion on that day.

Besides, I have a cousin who has just graduated at Australia. She sent me an email; telling me of her consideration to go back for good to Indonesia. She recon that she has been away from her parent for about 12 years now. And she wishes to spend more time wif her parent now..I wonder why this kind of email come to me at this period of time; where i have the kind of longing to spend more time wif my family as well..

Another things that I did in Jakarta during my holiday, I went for few check up. I did a check up on my cholesterol, "Asam Urat", THT..those kind of things. Just to ensure that everything is ok. I felt really scared when the nurse did the injection to get my blood..huh..don't know when was the last time i went for injection and i really do not like injection...And when i went to THT to check on my nose, the doctor used the special tool to go into my nose..it really makes me uncomfortable..but i just need to endure wif it...

On the last day before i get my result of all the check up...well...i feel very nervous. hoping that nothing is wrong..And I really thank God, that everything went well...I thought i have a high cholesterol but i do not..hoho.so happy..but i've got to control cause the figure is quite close to the normal rate that we should have..And problem on my nose: The doctor said nothing serious. I only need to take care of my food so that i wont get too hitty..And try not to be in the aircon room for too long..well this is something that is more difficult to do cause I'm in the aircon room most of the time...

It's kind of tough to stay healthy in Singapore whereby you always need to take outside food, going back late, taking bath late..everything is not in a proper time. Well, i guess i need to make deliberate effort to make it happen..sometimes i'm not discipline in my eating pattern..haha..i like to eat hitty food. That's why i always fall into that kind of sickness...

I hope this year i can take special care of my health. Amen!!

Trip in Jakarta Part 2

On the second day of my holiday, I managed to go to dentist to "bersihin karang gigi n tambal gigi"...the fee to go for dentist is always very very costly..but it is still better to fix it in Indo rather than doing it in Singapore. It will be two times more expensive..hohoho..

After going to dentist i rushed to one of the shopping mall near my house to do my foot therapy and go to the salon. I was thinking to do my hair for my friend's wedding. But it end up not gud, it did not meet my expectation. Thus i asked the hairdresser to wash my hair again and just blow my hair as per normal..haizz...So disapointing.

There we go, 4 of us went for my friend wedding. This friend of mine named Roslina was finally got married. She has been together wif her boyfriend for about 7 years i guess. This is the longest relationship that she ever had. Hm..it is definately a pleasure for me to witness her marriage. And she gave me "kue penganten"..haha..she said it is for me so that i can find my partner soon too...Amen! I also hope so!

The wedding ended around 9 p.m..Guess What!! On the way home, my brother suggested; why not we go for karaoke..hohoho..And we went for karaoke together..I like to go for karaoke at Indo.cause i can sing as many of mandarin song as i like. It has the ping ying that can help me alot when i sing.hahaha..we sing for about 2 hours. And the irritating part is that there is a black out..huh...this is something that is quite common in Indo though.

That nitez i reach home closed to 1 a.m and slept around 2 a.m and i cant wake up the next morning to go to church..Forgive me Daddy in Heaven..huhuhu.

On Sunday I meet my cousin with her daughter. I am quite close with this cousin. We grew up together and played together since we were still a kid. And our house is very near to each other. Only a walking distance thus we often go to one another house to catch up. But after she got married, she moved very very far...sigh. And i can only meet her on Sunday. That Sunday i have a gud time catch up with her and played with her daughter too. She shared with me about her family and the challenge in raising up a kid. Waow what a tough life..

Because both of us having the same problem with our foot, thus our parent ask "Ibu Tukang Urut" to come to her house to massage our body. That is our very first experience. And it is very very very painful. My goodness..i think it is more painful that giving birth to a baby. Even my cousin say so. She was the first one to be massage and she kept on shouting and i can really see that she was in pain. In my mind..Oh No! i didnt know that it will be that painful. Not sure if i can bear with the pain if it is come to my turn. OMG when it come to my turn, i can't describe the pain but it is really painful. The "Ibu" said that i ever fell down and it's been quite sometimes. I didn't really massage the bruise that why it become very painful. And my body also not in the fit condition a.k "masuk angin" thus when she massage my body, it was also very painful. Haiz..one thing that i can describe the massage experience "It is painful"..huh...

Now i only have 2 more days for my holiday..haiz..so sad to end the holiday so soon. I wish i can extend the holiday. I wish i can have one month period for my holiday in Indo. I wonder when will it come to pass..hmm....

Trip in Jakarta Part 1

Today is my second day in Jakarta for my holiday trip. I just arrived yesterday and by the time i reached my home it was already midnight. Nothing much can be done in my first day of holiday.

On my second day, very early in the morning around 8 a.m..my brother knocked on my door and he came in to my room with his kid and wife...haha...my niece is very very shy at the beginning..she did not speak much when i tried to talk and interact with her..According to her mum n dad..she keep on asking about me when i was not arrived yet...few hours later, she started not to be shy anymore. she keep on calling me and asking me lots of question. She asked if i have taken my bath, if i have eaten..she asks me as well where am i going..wahh i think what her parent told me is right. she is very talkative and very active as well..Only shy at the beginning. Well it can still be understood that she is still treating me as a stranger at the beginning cause i only go back once or twice a year..so she hardly recognize me i guess.

Today i went to Mangga dua and Taman Angrek to look for few dresses for my friend's wedding..This year there are many wedding that i will be attending. So i think it's better for me to buy the dresses here..And i manage to get 2 dresses today..hehe..i'm quite satisfied with it.

And at night i went for foot therapy with my mum...It's a promotion for 30 days trials for free..so i just went there and have a tried on it..i think it's quite good. But i can only try it for 6 days when i'm still here. The people said the result will be seen after 14 days of trying it..haiz..But it's ok i will still try it hopefully it will give some effect..

There are many many food that i want to eat here...And today i manage to eat siomay..yummyy...and of course a homecook food by my mum..She cooked my favorite chicken soup, sayur asem, kodok asam manis, and ikan panggang..nyam nyam..hopefully i wont grow fat and i need to make sure that i will do my exercise after i go back to Singapore..hahaha...

Stuck in the Jam

Yesterday I was rushing for care group after work. I purposely asked permission from my manager to dismiss me earlier by 15 minutes. So that I can reach Cuppage (Asia Room) early and can make it for my worship practice. However all my planned is ruined because of the jam that happen at orchard road. Normally it takes only 10 minutes to reach cuppage from Newton bus stop. But yesterday it took me 40 minutes just to reach Tangs. And I decided to alight at Tangs and walked all the way to cuppage. Here you go, yesterday our care group started really late. I think we start at 8 plus and we end the care group at 10 p.m..

Well, before the care group I was informed that few people can’t make it for the care group due to exam. And one of the sisters who supposed to lead praise for the first time was stuck in the office. Here you go I’ve got to get myself ready to lead the whole praise and worship session...while getting myself ready and prepared for leading the praise and worship session, there is a SURPRISE!! This sister manages to come for the cg even though she was late. But because we started late..Thus it became in time for her to lead praise.

I would said yesterday care group was refreshing..it was full of laughter during the sharing session. Our sister who gave the sharing has a unique way in delivering the Word of God. Thus I personally enjoy the sharing time and we learned about “The Servant Hood Spirit”. There are 6 six criteria’s of a servant hood. And one of the criterias that spoke to me is that "Real Servant Do Every Tasks With Equal Dedication". Many times if I have many tasks to do, certain tasks I will just do it fast and it does affect the effort and the concentration that i put in. It actually can be better perform if i do it with full dedication.

I prayed that God will continue to mould me to become a real servant for Him. Let's Race Together

Yesterday, 28 Oct 2009 has marked the beginning of running the new race.

Now the care group has officially birthed. We start running our own care group yesterday. The team of leader has done our very best in coming out with a new group and in talking to different kind of people about the new grouping.

I started the new care group with a lot of fear in me. I have many pesimistic thought, doubt and lack of faith.
But God has reminded me about FAITH from times to times. This reminder from God has caused me to flip on the bible and meditate on the verse Hebrew 11:1 "Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see". When i meditate on the verse it caused me to think what am I hoping for and what do I really want to see in this new care group.

I HOPE THAT:
1. The care group will have more new friend to join (especially guys..we only have 2-3 guys in the group)
2. Each people will grow in term of their stature with God (daily walk with God, commiting to the local church, start to take caring n follow upping people)
3. To see 10 regular people in the group by end of Jan 2010
4. To relate well with the new core team
5. To have a guitarist in the group

Being sure of what i do not see - is really refering to the area that I am pesimistic about. I thought that this new group, the people are a bit quite; not as bubbly and lively. We do not have guitarist; will this affect the atmosphere of the cg? I actually question all these to God, and God answer me with the verse "to be certain of what i do not see. To put my certainty in Him rather than in the situation". It will be my choice to stay pesimistic with the situation that I'm in now or i choose to face it with FAITH - to be sure of what i hope for and to be certain of what I do not see.

Yesterday care group which is our first care group is very encouraging. And it ups my confident and my courage to run the group. We are not that quite after all...People are very supportive and they make the group become lively. I enjoyed yesterday care group. There was 7 of us yesterday who turn up for the care group. It is a small group which makes us to feel closer to one another as each of us get the attention from everybody. I shared with them about running the race together from the book of 1 Cor 9:24-27:

24Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. 25Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. 26Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air. 27No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.

What i can picturize about this passage is everyone in the group is running in the racing field. All of us start the race together and we are aiming the same finishing line. The end objective is for us to end the race together as one group. As the times goes, some of us may start looking tired, losing out our stamina, feel like giving up, feel frustrated..but there will be some people that are still feel excited, still full of energy to run the race till the end. And as one group we want to cheer and encourage one another in the racing field to keep running. Keep pressing on to reach the finishing line together without leaving anyone behind...

Thus, Let's continue to press on, keep going, keep running and never give up till you finish the race for Him.

CL Outing - Bowling

Our first CL outing is on 11 Oct..We are going to take this time to celebrate Goto and Jorry's Bday. At the same time we also want to welcome the new CL...WHO ARE THEY????? They are none other than VELLY, NIA & YULI!!! WELCOME ON BOARD FOR THREE OF THEM!!

Where did we go????Wellllll....This was the challenging part because the activity and the venue keep on changing...starting from wanting to go karaoke, then change to ice skating...And finally we decided to go for bowling. Actually i wanted so much to go for karaoke..i thought this would be the good idea coz most of the people in the team is from worship ministry..thought this could be a fun activity for us...buttttt too bad at the end we did not go for karaoke..we went for bowling instead..anywei we still have fun there...

It's good to wake up earlier!

This week is another hectic week for me....Almost everyday i have something on which caused me not able to go for my exercise. I've been wanting to go for gym in the morning since i start working at 10 a.m and most of the nights i will be occupied with something. I thought i can just wake up earlier and go for my exercise. And this week i have determined to do so...AND GUESS WHAT??? I MADE IT TODAY!! HAHAHA!!

Today i manage to wake up at 6.45 a.m...getting myself ready and set off to gym at 7 a.m... the journey from my home to the gym was quite long..and i forgotten to bring something and to buy something...sigh..n that's cause me to reach the gym place late..and i can only do my workout for 50 minutes and i was late for work for about 10-15 minutess...hmmmm...i guess i've got to be slightly earlier next time..And i planned to go for morning exercise again this Friday!

Good to wake up earlier becauseeeee:

I can have the time to do more things (like going for gym in the morning and at night i can still do other things)
I feel more energize after my exercise and proceed to my work place with an energized body
It helps to discipline myself (to sleep earlier so that i can wake up the next morning for my exercise. coz if not i will have the habit to browse internet n do this n that which at the end cause me to sleep late...sleep early can be for beauty purpose too...hehehe..i think i have a dark circle around my eyes oledyy...so sad..)

Soooo...Hope that i can continue to discipline myself to wake up early..hehehe

Slept for 8 hours last night!

Wow, it's been quite sometimes that i did not sleep for 8 hours..most of the time is about 6 hours or at time is 7 hours...

This weekend is quite a tiring weekend for me! On Saturday my cg and I went to Keppel Bay. We have a great time together. Though the games that we played is quite simple but we enjoyed playing the games together and the games also made us to know one another better..hahaha...

The games that i enjoyed the most is about "to know ur friend better". There is this question "If you are lost in a deserted island, who will be the 5 person from this group that you'd want to bring along?" haha..i thought this is interesting...my answer is:
I need guys who can help me to find the best spot for us to rest since my sense of direction is quite bad. Thus i chosed Joseph & Donny
I think we need some entertainment so that we will not feel bored. Thus i chosed Uci..i find her quite entertaining..hehehe
I think we might feel discouraged n might be losing hope while finding the way out from this island...Thus I chosed ming2 who will encourage us with God's word..hahaha...
Lastly, we might feel bored and need some story telling..hehehe...hm..who is the person that fit into this?AHAAA..It's Kiki..hehehe

That's is my answer..hohoho...

On tat day i reached home at 12.30 midnight...by taxi from Vivo to Sembawang..the charges is S$30!!! my goodness so expensiveeee....

The next day, i have shepherd training at 10 a.m at Joo Chiat office..Jorry n I will be teaching on that day. And i have not finished preparing for the shephered training..hoooooo....by the time i finished preparing it was already 2 a.m...n I slept around 2.30 in the morning...having difficulties to wake up the next day at 7.50 a.m...hooooo....And Sunday it's a long day for me..coz full of activity...and by the time i reached home it was already 10.30 p.m...i quickly took bath and tidied up necessary things and slept at 11.30...haha..that's how i get my 8 hours sleep...one of the personal trainer at the gym that i go to, advise me to have enough sleep meaning 8 hours sleep...hoooo how i wish i can do that everyday...i only manage to do it yesterday....hahaha....

My Bday Celebration

I would say i do not really enjoy birthday celebration as compared with before...hehehe...maybe it's because everytime when you blow the candle, the candle is getting more and more..wahaha...the things that i still enjoy the most during bday is the bday's gift..wahahaha....

On my bday date; 11 September, my mentor Yen Nee, has already booked appointment with me. hehe...we went for manicure and pedicure together at Plaza Singapura; Jean Yip. I like the result of my manicure. My nail looks very pretty. I like the colour of my nail and the shape of my nail..hihihi...it make myself happy whenever i look at my finger.

After mani pedi session, we went on eating our dinner at about 9 p.m plus...we went to chinese restaurant. The food was not really nice yet very expensive...not so satisfied with the dinner at that night...

I went home on that day and my housemates celebrated my birthday..hehehe...they kind of want to give me surprise..but actually i was not really surprise..wahahaha...When i was on the way back from Sembawang MRT, my housemate ai ai called me and asked me to buy drink for her from the vending machine at my block. She asked me to call her when I reached there so that i can let her know what are the drink that is available...hm..im already quite suspicious at that time...and true enough when i open my house door...SUDDENLY...TARA!!!! DORRRR!!!Ai ai was trying to shock me with her shout and they began singing bday song for me...hahaha..n as usual blow candle, make wish, share wish and they prayed for me....Thank you housemates for the effort and sincerity in celebrating my bday. It was so sweet.

The next one who celebrated my bday is Shine 2, our beloved care group people. It was after saturday service on 12 September at Warung 613 near our church "Concorde Hotel". I am also quite suspicious...i have already guessed that most probably the celebration was going to be on that day...

The last celebration that i had is with the CLDMM team..hehe...we went to have dinner at peranakan restaurant. The food there was REALLY REALLY GOOD!!!...I regreted that i did not take the picture of the food...let me just name it for you all..we ate Babi Ponteh, Rendang, Sambal petai, Ngo Hiang, Asam Pedas Fish, Kangkung Belacan, Nyonya and XO Rice dumpling..Really YUMMYYY!!! you guys should try it. it is located at Joo Chiat...After the dinner, we had a session of answering question that has been thrown to Yen Nee and I (The Birthday Gal). We have a great time of sharing and knowing each other better from the question...The dinner end around 9 p.m and my housemate and I went back home by taxi...

Last but not least let me just share my bday wishes:

What did God speak to me at the meeting on last sunday?

Last Sunday 27 September, we have a meeting at Joo Chiat. We spent time to pray for one another. One of the things that we did is to recall how God has brought us from the time we have not has the personal relationship with Him until now whereby we serve Him in this capacity.

At that moment i recalled back, the very first time i was touched by God's presence. At that time i was still in my secondary. I was from a Christian school since kindergarden. In my secondary school it was compulsory for all student to attend church every monday and to jot down sermon. We'll be getting mark by doing so and will receive penalty for not doing so. Besides, we have this subject called Christian Religious subject that is compulsory for us to take. That is how i know the knowledge about christianity. But back then i have not had personal encounter and personal relationship with God. Until one day during one of the service that i attended at church i was touched by God's presence. I was crying and one of the sister at church brought me to one room to pray for me. At that i time i still cant figure out what caused me to cry but one thing for sure i was touched by Him.

On year 1998, when riot happened in Jakarta, my mom asked me and my brother to further my study at Sarawak, Malaysia. At first i refused and objected the idea of studying oversea. But my mom was worried due to the riot and it was very dangerous especially for chinese female. Furthermore I am the only daughter in the family..hmmmm...After many "bujukan" from different people, i decided to go to Sarawak with my brother.

That mark the beginning of my journey with Him. I found a church through my housemates cousin. I called the church and told them i want to join their service. One brother picked me and my brother. The church i attended "Hope Church" is full of many friendly and sincere people where they really have the heart and willingness to be used by God. And it caused my brother and I to stay on and to serve in this church.

I never thought that i will go far in serving Him. Starting from a simple ministry like ushering and i began to find out talent that God has deposited in me. I started to be part of the worship ministry. And God has enlarged my capacity in serving Him in take caring care group and dealing with people life. I will say this church has play a part in developing my understanding about Him and in laying a foundation about Christian life. Another good thing, Hope is not only at one country, thus when i moved to KL, Singapore and back to Jakarta for holiday; these countries also have Hope Church which allow me to serve Him wherever i go and have a church covering as well.

I really thank God on how he has laid the path for my journey with Him. Up to today, it is still a journey that i want to go through with Him; The perfector of my soul.

I was reminded by God as well during the prayer time, about the struggle that i faced when i serve Him at Hope Singapore. The moment when i felt not convicted about being a leader. He spoke to me many time at Leadership conference at Kuching and when Bro Peter Truong (The evangelist from Australia) prophesied on me; both occassion spoke to me that God has chosed me and when He chosed me He will also equip me. That has gained a confident in me to serve Him.

And very soon, the care group that i lead, is going to birth. It is exactly one year when i first take up the challenge to be the cg leader. I remembered the last time when i became care leader back in Kuching, Sarawak. The group did not really grow in term of quantity. I was very disappointed coz it has been sometimes that the group did not really grow. It consisted of the same person everytime we come together for care group. Somehow i have this fear that the group that im going to lead in the future will have the same problem. But it's not!! The group has multiply! Thank God for the growth! All glory goes to Him!

Addiction to watching Taiwan series movie "Why why love"

Recently i watched Taiwan movie "Why Why Love". This movie is really good and addictive! it caused me to keep watching from one episode to another..there are few times i watched till early morning..hehehe...I have lost my self control in watching this movie.

Now let me just shared how i bumped into this movie..Everytime i reach home, i have this habit "sit on the sofa and watch movie". I on the TV and happen to watch this movie. The movie attracted me coz of the stories line and most importantly the actor who acted on the movie...This guy called Kingone Wang Chuan Yi acted as Huo Yan...So handsomeeeeeeee....Gud lookinggg and his character is what most of the girls wish to have.

Let me just list down the character that i like the most about him:
1. The way he brings himself whenever he is in the challenging position. He remain clam in his attitude and not rushing into decision but think of the best way of doing it.

2. The way he run the company as a general manager. He is very "tabah" and did his very best for the success of the company. This also mean in term of career, future, financial...all are stable. GREAT!

3. He might not be so talk-active and entertaining...but he is very caring towards the girl that he like and will go all the way for the girl. eventhough the girl is just an ordinary girl n from a poor family background but he can accept her as she is..

4. He can accept the fact that the girl actually love his brother not him...And he actually did not force the girl to accept him but he go for the fair way of challenge in getting the love of the girl..waow...what a gentlemen!!hehehe...

HANDSOMEEE righttttt n charmingggg...i like his facial expression n "bentuk mukanya"...i have watched a few of his interview...can see that he is not as fluent n natural as Mike He (acted as Huo Da) and Chen Ling (acted as Jiadi) during the interview...i think is because he is still quite new as compared with Chen Ling n Mike He...but anyway i still prefer him that Mike He in this movieeee....i'm waiting for the new movie acted by him..Jia Yo Kingone!
